It’s great that you’re interested in volunteering to support this community effort! We know that everyone’s time and commitments vary – but in a small town, the things that make this place special just have to be a labour of love. From the testimonials people have sent in to council, left on the petition, and in comments on social media and elsewhere, it’s clear this building is significant and worthy of investment.
Tell us how you want to put your care and concern into action! There are many ways to get involved in Team Town Hall’s efforts. We can help you find a fit that’s best for you.
You have lots of people to meet and fun things to do when you become a member of one of our teams – Building, Fundraising, Finance and Grants, Communications, Events, and Future Use Plan. If you aren’t available on an ongoing basis, just let us know what you have in mind, and the best time and way to get in touch. We’ll find a way to make it work.
Below are the board members of Team Town Hall. These are some people who have committed extra time to research, organize, consult professionals, and see the project through to completion.
Many of you reading this post also have signed petitions, showed up at council meetings, come out for events, have donated or plan to donate, and helped organized fundraisers. Many of you may have yet to attend a performance in the theatre, and others have memories going way back across generations. Whoever you are, you’re welcome!

Let’s keep the momentum going!
Take it to the Town Hall Movie Night

‘Friends of the Hall’ includes everyone who wants our theatre to be reopened for community use and benefit in downtown Dundalk and is asking themselves “how can I help?” We all share the vision of a renewed theatre with great acoustics, beautiful historic aesthetic and charm, with upgraded tech and innovation – bringing together the new and old!
